Skate

Alright, things are starting to warm up in utah again.  HELL-ELU-YEAH.

I've been taking it to my total advantage by being outside as much as possible.
A lot of that time has involved skating.  Do I skate myself? nah.  I'm getting better at long boarding though.

I'm just so excited for summer, I'm moving out to an apartment in provo and it'll be nice to kind of disappear and to do my own thing for a while after I graduate.  Can't wait to bike my heart out everywhere around provo and surf the structure whenever I want.

Bring on the chillness and independence, am I right?

Everything is a copy,

I've been thinking lately…

Pretend you lived in your own world, you were the only person to live, you're the only person you knew/will ever know.  You've never seen a single picture, you'd never seen a movie, you'd never heard a song before, never seen fashion trends, etc. You live in a blank canvas world where nothing existed, but you had the power to create.

What would you create?
What clothes would you wear?
What music would you make?
What pictures would you take?
What words would you speak?
What opinions would you have?
What life would you want to live?
What environment would you create?
What thought patterns would you have?
What videos would you make?
What paintings would you paint?
What drawings?

What would you do yourself, if you had never seen anything before.
You weren't influenced by a single thing you'd ever seen.

We are what we are, we like what we like, we feel what we do because of things we see.

We see things others have made, and we make it a part of us.

So what would you create, if you were the ultimate creator?

Just a thought

Playlist #1

It's 3:42.  I tried taking pictures of the fog, that didn't work out.  My shutter is so loud in such a quiet house I didn't want to risk waking up my parents that are just a few doors down the hall.  I'd go outside but I'm still pretty sick and the last time I thought I was starting to feel better I went from a bad cold, to having pneumonia by hiking around the mountains in the cold.  So I'll just lay in bed and appreciate this fog from my room.

If this blog has any followers yet (It doesn't) and you used to follow my old blog, you're familiar with my playlists.  Friends and people I didn't even know used to DM me on twitter or come up to me in the hall asking for me to make them a private playlist cause they enjoyed my music so much. I think that's why most of you even read that blog.  I don't blame you.  I'm not a very good writer when it comes to public blogs.

So.  Here's the first playlist for this new site.  It's a mix of old and new, and pretty different genres, just the sounds I've been listening to lately.

Now, this playlist is going to be a bit personal because some of these songs have a decent amount of meaning to me.  Whether it be because the lyrics fit my thoughts and emotions, or they're linked to memories.  I mean not all of them are super deep or anything, most I just really like the sound to and that's all.

Alright.

Sleepless

It's currently 2:07 A.M.

I fell asleep at 7, woke up at like midnight, hoping I'd be able to sleep through the night. HA.

It's so beautifully foggy outside right now.  Like un real.

I wish you all were up to see it too.

My week in pictures

Laying on my bed, eyes closed, soaking up the crisp sounds vinyl produces.

Finally… FINALLY got back in the mountains.

I'm just a tad bit sick health wise, but terribly sick emotionally, so I decided to finally burn the sage
stick one of my good friends gave me for christmas to help myself heal. My room smells like a dream.
My mom thought I was smoking weed in my room, she said it smelled like it.  I guess I love the smell
of weed then.  Cause this is heavenly.  Sorry mum.

After about a year and a half, I finally got back on the rock wall.  It was pretty
discouraging, not gonna lie.  I've lost almost all my strength and skill that I used
to have and it broke my heart barely even being able to complete a V1.

Spending the majority of my time in bed, meditating, watching childhood movies/netflix,
browsing tumblr, music hunting, and watching beautiful vimeos.

Alice in wonderland, oh how I LOVE you.

Found my constellation globe and spent so many hours looking around my
room that the bulb burned out… pretty much heart broken.

Went to my last big high school rivalry basketball game against MV, probably one of the most
intense games I've ever been to.
We lost by 1 point.

I drank a huge A bottle of fancy italian lemonade by myself, and for some reason
I'm extremely proud of myself for it.

I feel like my life revolves around this thing now.  My trusty humidifier.  Ever since
I was little, I get really bad nose bleeds.  Like every single day.  I finally went
to the doctor and they cauterized both my nostrils (burned the inside of my nostrils
with chemicals to seal the areas that were bleeding) It hurt SO bad and it didn't
even stop my nose bleeds.  All it did was make my nose raw and hurt for about
a week.  So I decided to get a heavy duty humidifier in my room, and it's working
wonders.  I haven't had a nose bleed since.  Why didn't I do this earlier!?
LIFE ROX.
